Condito S.A., one of the largest industrial companies in Greece, specializes in producing, labeling and distributing mustards<\/a>, ketchup<\/a>, mayonnaise<\/a>, and traditional spread salads<\/a>. The company, celebrating 40 years of operations, is investing in innovative practices and techniques, to revolutionize the Greek food sector.<\/p>\n

Caring from a social group that faces buying and handling issues with commercial goods, Condito redesigned its classic mustard containers. On the bottom side of the pot, consumers may now find the brand’s and product’s name written in Braille (writing and reading system for the visually impaired)<\/strong>, in English & Greek (Condito Mustard<\/a>\/\u039c\u03bf\u03c5\u03c3\u03c4\u03ac\u03c1\u03b4\u03b1 Condito<\/a>). To ensure its readability, the project team paid special attention to the content’s wording, spacing, and letter thickness.<\/p>\n

None of these would have been made possible without the assistance of KEAT’s (Education & Rehabilitation Center for the Blind)<\/a> teachers and students. Condito would like to publicly thank everyone involved for their valuable cooperation on the project.<\/p>\n

Additionally, a repousse with the product’s serving suggestions was added on the top part of the packaging, to inspire the consumers to use their favorite mustard in the best way possible, maximizing its gastronomical potential.<\/p>\n

As of now, this innovative, especially for the Greek food sector, pilot initiative, is solely adopted to Condito’s mustard containers<\/a>. Condito plans to include these changes to all of its product lines in the near future.<\/p>\n
