Preheat the oven to 180° C. You will need a oven pan with a lid, which will fit in the oven. Put the chicken in the pan, the onion, the peppers, the carrots, the mushrooms, the apple and the Condito’s cooked  sweet and sour sauce. Close with the lid and cook for about 30minutes or until the chicken is ready.

At the same time, we prepare the rice. Leave the rice in cold water for half an hour and then rinse it. Bring the water to a boil and when it starts to boil, add the rice. Lower the heat to a boiling point, cover it with a lid and let it boil for 12 minutes. Close the burner, cover the pot with a clean towel and leave the rice for another 15 minutes. When the time is up, we will have a perfectly cooked rice.

Divide the rice into three portions, add the chicken and the chopped fresh onions on top and serve.

Ingredients

For the sweet & sour chicken:

1 jar (370g) Condito’s cooked sweet and sour sauce
400g chicken, cutted into pieces
1 onion, cutted into small pieces
2 peppers, cutted into cubes
2 sliced carrots
100g mushrooms finely chopped
1 apple finely chopped

For serving:

300g basmati rice
400ml of water
2 fresh onions finely chopped
